The Poe Museum in Richmond, Virginia, houses one of the most important collections of Edgar Allan Poe artifacts, manuscripts, family ephemera, and memorabilia in the world. The museum began digitizing it in 2008 to create virtual exhibits for the museum’s website in time for Poe’s bicentennial celebration in 2009.
